Story
This year my mum was diagnosed with bowel cancer and along with COVID, this has been a very emotional time for my whole family. Therefore, I will be running 100km over the course of 3 weeks, from 16th February to 7th March, to raise money and awareness for Cavendish Cancer Care.
They are an independent Sheffield charity who offer emotional and physical support for families affected by cancer. They work along the NHS to complement medical treatment, offering professional counselling for a variety of conditions. It costs £55 to cover the cost of a 2 hour therapy session, so this is my target!
They are funded almost entirely by the local public and donations are more than needed this year as many fundraising events have been cancelled, so please donate if you can!
