In memory of Sebastian Lloyd
We help the hospital offer a better future to seriously ill children across the UK

Story

Thirteen of my amazing friends and I will be running the North London half marathon in March in honour of my nephew Sebastian who tragically lost his battle with leukaemia in September at just 39 weeks.

It is still hard to believe what happened to Sebastian and how quickly our lives were changed.  1 in a million diagnoses and helplessness is tough to bear but we can now try and help find a cure.

Sebby used to crack up at my normal face so can only imagine the giggles that the faces I’ll pull when trying to run this would have brought.

Sebby didn’t yet know how cruel the world can be or  how unjust the hand he was dealt was. He faced and fought it head on and brought joy to us all every day of his short life. Although we didn’t get to have him for very long he will be an inspiration to me forever.

So it is in his memory and to support in any way people suffering from this now and in the future I am raising money for Great Ormond Street and the research of blood cancers through Sebby’s brighter future fund.

He’s our beautiful boy and will be loved and missed forever.
