Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I’ve never been a runner, in fact at one point I would have baulked at the idea of running for a bus. But when Grev decided we’d run the Windsor Half Marathon in memory of Rob Kinsey (https://www.justgiving.com/teams/TC-Run-for-Rob) I signed up without a second thought. I saw a promotional stall for the British Heart Foundation’s Canary Wharf Jog one lunchtime and decided it would be a good milestone to keep my half-marathon training on track, and the BHF has been an important charity to me since we lost Simon Kirby so sadly and so suddenly a few years ago, so there was really no other option.
I was aiming to run the full 10K in under an hour and I came in at 50:49, which has to be worth a few quid right?
