The Mad-Maids of Polperro and the Goring Gulls are groups of like-minded women who appreciate the benefits that regular sea water swimming brings.Several Maids/Gulls have been lucky enough to secure places in this year's Looe Island swim and we need your support to encourage us to complete this challenging swim of just over a mile in the open water together. Any amount you can give, really does make a difference. The Chestnut Appeal for Men's Health Mission is: to increase awareness of Prostate Cancer, Testicular Cancer and Penile Cancer; to get more men talking about their health and taking action; to fund salaries of Specialist Prostate Cancer Nurses; to provide equipment for Prostate Cancer care; to fund the latest treatments that may not be available on the NHS; to run and facilitate online resources and support groups. The success of The Chestnut Appeal is a testament to what can be achieved if we all work together as a community.
