Story
We are doing the 2019 Mongol Rally.
The rally sees participants unaided drive from the UK to the rally start in Prague and to finish just over the Mongolian border in the Russian city of Ulan-Ude. There is no set route but we have chosen to head down through Europe, then into Middle East and up through Central Asia. About 11,000 miles and will see us drive 4655m above sea level along the Pamir Highway, if the car makes it!
As per the rules of the rally, the car has to be 1.2litre engine size or smaller and the more obscure and unreliable the better. We chosen a 1987 Subaru Justy as the perfect car to take on the deserts and mountains along the way! This adventure should take us about 6 weeks and we will be camping most of the way.
Any support is greatly appreciated.
