I have chosen to run the London marathon this year with my chosen charity The Greyhound Trust as it is something very close to my heart as I work at Harvel, Croftview kennels. Every week I get to see the joys and strains and sometimes sad times that go with working there day in and day out. So I understand where we need funds to help raise awareness and to also help in every way from the root up.
So this to me has been something I have been trying to do for a long time, well 9 years to be exact but failing to gain entry every year unfortunately.
So this is a dream come true being able to join my two passions and make the most of them to help in every way I can. Don’t get me wrong this will be a real challenge, but a well worth challenge that will be rewarded by the help of all of you that help and support and hopefully donate a little towards my goal of raising some well needed funds for the Greyhound Trust.
