So, the time has come for me to train hard for the Paris Marathon, 2009!  I'm running it for a charity which is very special to me, and one that I have been involved with for many years.  The Royal Star & Garter Homes, in short, look after those service men and women (of all ages) who have served so that I can be fortunate enough to enter such events as the Marathon.  More details at www.starandgarter.org

Making a donation really couldn't be easier.  It's quick, secure and if you are a UK taxpayer, Justgiving adds 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement to your donation.

I'd like to make clear that I will be paying 100% of my costs (travel, accommodation etc.) out of my own pocket, and so your full donation will go to the Royal Star & Garter Homes.
