Story
A few friends (Louise, Ashley, Heather and Laura) and I are walking the West Highland Way, come 3rd of August 2021.We plan to do it over 5 days.
I’m so grateful that some of my close friends are giving up some of their summer holiday to support me 💕
I was meant to walk this last year (2020) in memory of my Dad as it was my way of celebrating what would’ve been his 60th birthday. But due to several lockdowns, it was postponed.
We are looking forward to it… (minus the midges and trench foot 🙈)!
Anthony Nolan is a charity that gave my Dad a bit of hope during his cancer battle. And they have went on to save thousands of lives by giving donors to those in need-some of whom were my dad’s friends during his time in the hospital.
The money raised will help to register a small number of people on the stem donor list. And subsequently, give poorly cancer patients more chance of receiving a stem cell transplant.
Please help to give others a fighting chance to battle this horrible disease 😞
If you could spare a pound or two to help us on our way, it would be much appreciated.
Many thanks,
From all the team 🤗
