I am participating in London Asics British 10k on Sunday 10th July 2011. I have chosen to raise money for Brain Tumour UK. For those of you who know me, will know why this is my chosen charity. For those who don't heres my story..............

Three years ago my mum was diagnosed with a Brain Tumour, thankfully she was able to have a life saving operation to have it removed. Mum has regular check ups and is doing fantastic, she leads pretty much a 'normal' life.....Back at work, cooking, cleaning, looking after me, my brother n sister and our dad, also my two children.

I am doing this race as a THANK YOU for everyone who helped my mum and for you mum your brave, strong, courageous and so much more. I am tremoundously proud and lucky to have you as my mum, love you xxxx
