Training entering final stages!! Only 6 days to go! Rode a total of 440kms last week including Barcelona to Cadaques, 208kms. Starting to feel confident I can at least finish the race. Thank you so much to all who have contributed so far!

Training going well, rode 188km on Sunday making a total of 350km for the week.
This will be my first ever cycle race since taking up road cycling last year.
I have been training hard over the last few months despite a few hiccups along the way (my bike was off the road for 6 weeks following a collision with a car.....it was 100% the drivers fault and luckily I walked away with only a few bruises and an achy shoulder!)
The Quebrantaheusos is a 205kms cycle race with a climb and an arrival at Sabiñanigo in the Spanish Pyrenees. But it is not just a cycle race. The Quebrantahuesos has a series of global aims, such as promoting the environment and locations which it transits and is held in, promoting all aspects of cycling as a sport (competition, leisure, sociocultural, health, etc.), a major sporting event viewed from the point of view of durability and environmental sustainable development, the latter being one of its major achievements.
