Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On Saturday 3rd July myself, Adam and Reece will be running 40 miles to raise money and awareness for Back On Side, an amazing small independent charity that supports people Mental Health problems and illness, encouraging recovery through focussed sporting activities. An obvious problem, yet it is estimated that only a quarter of sufferers receive ongoing treatment, leaving the majority of the UK population tackling these issues on their own.

We will be starting at Nardinis in Largs and running all the way to Crosshouse Hospital in Kilmarnock, then back to Oscars in Saltcoats.

This distance is more than 1.5 marathons and will be the biggest run we have ever attempted. We would really appreciate any donations and will be posting details of our planned route if anyone would like to support us along the way - we’re going to need it!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
