You have made it to my page and in the next 7 days I intend to make it to the finish line of the 2014 LONDON MARATHON.

The reason: 

Cancer has come into my families life again and this time having a devastating impact. There is not a lot I can do but give support and time to my parents who have done so much for others and also try to do something to fight this horrible illness by making an effort to raise money to give to charities that are doing everything they can to see if they can rid this world of this cruel disease.

I decided to run the marathon last August and to raise money for cancer research, that was the start of the challenge, getting a place was the start and I convinced WCRF I had what it took to complete the marathon and to raise them the vital funds they needed for that offer of a place on there team and then the training started and after a long winter and over 600 miles covered, I am now seven days away.

I have done everything I can to complete my challenge, now I am asking you to help me with the most important part and maybe the hardest to raise what I can for such a huge cause, we have to do what we can to beat this illness, it is affecting so many lives on a daily basis and seems to be gathering pace. Please please please. Help me with as much as you can to help me achieve my challenge, as my challenge is nothing in comparison to the challenge that is faced by cancer sufferers every day.

If we all dig deep, cancer can be beaten and stop all this suffering for others.
