Update - We are delighted to advise that we made it to the finish line. A great day and incredibly busy with around 40,000 riders. Sadly quite a few crashes where we had to wait while ambulances and paramedics attended but fortunately we got through unscathed although absolutely shattered. Many thanks to all our sponsors. Luke and I are attempting the London to Brighton bike ride again this year having successfully completed it last year. It is however just 3 months since I was in hospital having part of my knee bone & cartilage removed so as yet with a week to go I have only been out on the bike once since the op. I would be delighted if you sponsor us but please do so on the basis that I can offer no guarantee of finishing but will give it my best shot. Luke will no doubt race through to the finish so perhaps with a cleverly disguised hook and rope I might be just behind him :-)
