Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Dear Friend,

In April 2005 I ran the London Marathon in aid of 'Whizz-Kidz', the 'movement for non-mobile children' and raised £1800.  My time was 04:10:17.

This year I have gained a place through the ballot system and so I am not tied to raising a minimum amount for a specific charity.  However, I have chosen to raise funds for what I consider to be the single most important charity around, the NSPCC.  There can be nobody who has not been deeply affected by the horrific stories in the news over recent months about the sickening abuse that some children face.  I feel that it is incumbant on all of us to do everything possible to put an end to child cruelty-FULL STOP.

Unlike last time I ran the marathon, I now know how hard it really is.  I am also a fair bit heavier this time but despite it all, I am determined to run it again and try to make a difference.  Please support me by making a donation and helping to support this most important of causes.

Thank you
