Justin Caveill is raising money for Alzheimer's Society
Story
This year we're both running the Cardiff Half Marathon in aid of the Alzheimer's Society! Both of our families have been effected by Alzheimer's and we fully understand the impact it can have on individuals and those closest to them.
Having lost one grandmother to this horrible illness and another in the advanced stages of her fight, we can fully appreciate the impact the work of the Alzeheimer's Society can have.
The challenges of this disease are complex and challenging. The fight requires a mix of innovative research, specialist care and effective representation. The fantastic work of the Alzheimer's society delivers these needs.
Alzheimer's disease is cynical and unforgiving. It doesn't matter who you are, what you are or where you are. It can strike and erode people, stripping them of everything that makes them who they are.
We must not let it win.
