Story

Hello! We are two of the team members that make up Team Chatham, and we will be helping our Dad complete the Abseil on the 11th of September! In early April 2020, my Dad had 3 ischaemic strokes. We decided to raise money for a charity that helped through some truly hard times. Different Strokes are a social group, funded entirely through donations, and help stroke survivors of working age to reclaim their lives. It is a charity that has helped immensely through the isolating experience of a stroke, and a year of isolation due to the pandemic! They have helped raise my Dad and my family into a much better place. Last year, Ella raised over £1.2k for the charity and we think with the addition of little Mia, she’ll help us smash it again! We would like to return all they have done for our Dad, by raising as much money as possible for them!
