The challenge, 78.6 miles, 3 days, over 10,000 feet of ascent, on our own 2 feet. We thought this would be good training for Ironman Austria, although the closer it gets we are beginning to think that this is going to be much harder!!!

The Candidates:
Tim is fairly fond of sport especially the social side. With idleness being one of his stronger talents, he always knew this was going to be hard. Having a month off with a virus has made him feel quite overawed!!!
Tom is a serious endurance athlete with a first class resume, this includes a first, over consecutive years, in the Stoberry Primary School egg and spoon race backed up with a close second in mixed-sexed skipping. He now sees this as his next logical step in his sporting career and hopes that this vast experience will provide the springboard necessary to succeed in this challenge!!!
Steve said he would never do a marathon. He didn't say anything about doing three back to back on consecutive days though. As the old man of the team he is probably the only member with the mental toughness to complete the challenge but he is not stupid enough to think he can do an Ironman Triathlon.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Back-Up Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
It costs between £700 - £1000 to send a spinally injured person on an activity holiday abroad. So please sponsor us now.
