Most of you will know that I like to run up and down hills for fun.

What you may not know is that I'll be doing a little less of that this year, as I receive treatment for breast cancer.

One of the amazing sources of support available to me while I go through this is Force Cancer Charity.

Wig fittings, art classes, acupuncture, yoga, counselling... Force offers all this and more to cancer patients and their families, as well as visiting the chemo ward with refreshments and smiles.

To support them and say thank you for how well they support people affected by cancer, I'll be taking part in the Jurassic Coast 10k on 3rd May. This event is entirely non-profit, with entry fees going to Force but I hope to raise even more for this special team of carers and volunteers.

Please give what you can. Every little donation really does help!

And... if you're in Devon, come and cheer me and the other runners on. While I won't be breaking any records, I'll still be doing what I love and enjoying the buzz of a good old Devon trail run.
