We cannot believe that our firstborn daughter, Juno, was born 3 years ago, on 14th March 2017. It feels like a lifetime and yet just moments since we held our brunette beauty in our arms for the first time! 

Our bereavement suite in Cardiff was our safe haven during our darkest hours after she had passed away. Somewhere free from celebrating families, congratulations balloons and crying newborn babies. It made such a difference to us and every family going through such tragedy deserves to have a safe space to be with their baby, and be able to grieve in their own way. 

Philips Footprints is launching a £15,000 appeal to furnish the newly located Bereavement Suite in Jersey Maternity Unit. Each year, around 1,000 babies are born in Jersey. For most, it is a joyous occasion, bringing new life into the world. But around 20 Jersey families do not get to take their much wanted and already much loved babies home and instead they are left with a devastating and profound heartbreak. The money raised will go towards creating an up to date, peaceful space allowing families to spend time with their baby, holding them, making treasured memories and helping them begin to grieve the loss of their baby or babies.

As a Jersey girl, this cause is very close to my heart and any donation, however small, would be massively appreciated by myself and Lance, in honour of Juno. Thank you so much!  ❤️
