Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

My Grandad Thomas Marshall died of Parkinson's Disease in 1982 at the age of 75 years old. My Mum Catherine Ogilvy nee Marshall was diagnosed with Parkinson's in 1984 at the young age of 51 years old. She battled well with the disease but deteriorated quickly over the following years and died far too early at the age of 64 in 1998. Both my Mum and Grandad were wonderful intelligent, gentle characters. It is soul destroying watching one family member die of this horrible disease never mind two.

Parkinson's Uk is the support and research charity which works to find a cure and improve the quality of life for people with Parkinson's Disease.

If you can please help us support this charity we will be eternally grateful.
