As many of us are experiencing, the COVID-19 pandemic is having a significant impact on our mental health. It's been a challenging last few months for all of us in our own ways. For me running has been helpful to cope with the COVID-19 pandemic. While running has helped me I also want to use running to help Women’s College Hospital Foundation raise more funds. It will help in a small way to continue to provide vital support and care in the current environment we are living in.
To make it challenging and fun, for every $10 donated on my page I will run 1k. Originally I thought $1 for 1k, but my children’s swift and sudden willingness to donate made me think twice about my strategy. You’ll be able to see how many kilometres I have run by using Strava on my page. I will also take pictures of Toronto neighbourhoods on my run.
To fuel my effort and help me reach my goal of $1,000 please donate today! My goal is to finish by October 25th.
