Last year myself and my daughter Amanda ran the race for life and my husband Dave ran the Derby 10k. We succeeded in raising much needed funds for cancer research. Like many we have experienced the loss of loved ones to this terrible disease and in January aunty Viv was taken from us very quickly despite a brave battle with cancer. This year we are embracing the fund raising as a family. I am running the Derby 10k on 6th April with my very good friend Denise and myself and Amanda will once again be running the race for life in aunty Vivs memory. Dave and my son Adam are also running the Derby 10k and Dave will be running the Derby half marathon later in the year.

 As a family we hope to raise money for cancer research by completing these events. Your support in fund raising would be greatly appreciated any donation no matter how small will help save lives and improve the lives of those affected by cancer.
