Story
Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am going to volunteer teaching in a school in Kalimpong in India as part of my gap year programme starting in November 2012.
As an Inspire volunteer, I will be helping the work of the FutureSense Foundation, a UK registered charity which supports disadvantaged communities overseas. The FutureSense Foundation aims to improve education, child welfare and livelihoods for some of the most marginalised people in the world by providing volunteers like me and carefully targeted funds for specifically chosen initiatives.
The work of the Foundation helps children get a better quality of education, provides livelihood support to the most marginalised communities and extra care for children in shelter homes and orphanages. The charity works efficiently at a grassroots level by building long-term, sustainable partnerships with local organisations.
I will be taking part in person during my stay in India to do my bit for the projects that the Inspire programme supports and would like to invite you to join in my effort by making a donation to the FutureSense Foundation. No donation is too small, so please feel to contribute whatever amount you feel comfortable with. To find out more about the Foundation and my project please get in touch with me or visit www.futuresensefoundation.org.
