Story
Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page set up to remember Aunty Nora and to support Brain Tumour Research. Nora used to support various cancer charities and I chose this particular charity as my father, who helped and supported Nora over many years, sadly died of a brain tumour. It seems a fitting and right choice of which I am sure Nora would have approved. My father helped her to move from Ealing to Chesham Bois in 1985 and she was very much a part of our family life as I was growing up and onwards - family holidays, weekly Sunday lunches once she was in Chesham Bois, and joint activities with her sister (my mother) Jeanne. We all have very happy memories of her. She was variously called Aunty Nono, and of course, Aunty Glad aside from Aunty Nora!
RIP Gladys Noreen Foley 18 March 1925 - 4 December 2022
