Story
as some of you may know Phyllis Tuckwell was the place my mummy spent her last few weeks of her life.
The hospice is an independent organisation, heavily reliant on fundraising, with 80% of their costs being covered through fundraising and donations, equivalent to £20,000 per day to provide their services both in the community and at the hospice.
The team at Phyllis Tuckwell provided my mum with support at home in the prior months, then continued to care for her full time. They are the most amazing group of people who allowed my mum to die with dignity, free of pain, and importantly provided us as a family the opportunity to be with my mum in her final days and hours.
I therefore want to give back to this amazing organisation. I want to ensure that other families who face the same grief and challenges that we’ve been through are able to benefit from the services of Phyllis Tuckwell should they too find themselves in the situation we were in.
If I could kindly ask you to make a donation even if it’s £1 to sponsor me in this Fire-walk 🔥on the 19th September which I am kind of shitting myself about 🙈❤️
Thank you xx
