Story

Thank you for supporting me by visiting this page.  Follow me on Facebook for all the update to date information!

I am running in this half marathon so that I can help raise awareness about bowel cancer in the UK and abroad.  Cancer is never something people want to talk about, and it becomes even more difficult when the symptoms and screening screening procedures are of such a personal nature.  I want to be part of the movement to bring these issues out into the open so that no one feels that they have to suffer in silence or that they don't have access to treatment.

In the UK, people are eligable for free screening when they reach certain at risk ages.  Not only do I want this screening to become more socially acceptable here in the UK, but I wish such screenings were available freely in other parts of the world.

Not being afraid to talk about symptoms, screening, and early detection could save lives.  Please support me and Bowel Cancer UK by donating generously.

If you would like to follow my training journey, keep updated about my fundrasing goasl, and see news I post from Bowel Cancer UK, please follow me on Facebook.
