Story

Hi

It's now four days until the Race for Life (or walk in my case). I am taking part in this race for all the people who have been touched by cancer, either as a cancer patient or a relative or friend of someone who suffered from cancer.

In recent years we have been unfortunate to lose many people to this disease, including my sister -in-law Angela Pilkington and my good friend and neighbour Pat Miller. These two ladies were so brave but unfortunately lost the fight.

I am also running in memory of my lovely relatives Peg Pigott and Helena Hughes ,two beautiful ladies who were so full of life and a joy to have known.

Lastly I am also running for Gaynor Campbell, who died leaving two young daughters who attend the local toddler group.

On a positive note I am also running for my husband Terry, who has been fortunate to survive cancer twice.

Please sponsor me for this worthy cause and remember every little helps.
