Events like Race for Life are vital in funding Cancer Research UK's life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer.

I have ran in the 5k event for the last 10 years, however more recently more and more people that I know have been touched by cancer and it is for this reason that I am going to dig deep and run the 10k. Those of you that know me well will be aware that I prefer shorts sprints normally towards a new pair of shoes, so this will be a big challenge for me and for my back!!
