Thank you for taking a moment to log onto my fundraising page for the London Marathon.

I am running in aid of the British Heart foundation which is a charity that is very close to my heart. Many of you will be aware that my dad died very suddenly of a heart attack 8 years ago and had a very profound effect on mine and my families lives. I often wonder if signs of heart disease could have been detected earlier, treatment might have been available to save his life.

I am hoping by raising the awareness of the work that  the british heart foundation undertake i can maybe in a small part prevent the same thing happening to other families in the future.

In running the marathon I am also hoping to teach my children Harvey and Charlie firstly, that mummy likes a challenge and secondly anything is possible if you put your mind to it!

In memory of my dad 'Thomas William Wilson' .......my inspiration in life.
