What better way to spend my 55th birthday than run the Rome marathon with 2 amazing running chums and raise money for a charity dear to our hearts. This will be the first marathon for Deb and a second for Gills and we all love to run together.........the run is in memory of my dear husband who I lost in 2013. He was 54 years old and an avid runner so it seems only apt that we should run the marathon on my 55th birthday in his memory.

Our local Basingstoke  MS society branch were a tremendous support and groups like this would not be possible without the funding and support of the MS society. With evidence of what a real difference this makes to the lives of MS sufferers and their carers it has inspired us to support this charity and will motivate us as we plod through 26.2 miles on April 8th
