Story
Since I was about 15, I have always dreamed of running in a Marathon. I have always put this ambition to the back of my mind until recently.
In June 2010, I decided to join a running group and my journey began. Having felt like my legs would fall off after my first run, I now train regularly with the most amazing group of people.
I was then tempted by Lisa, my running leader, to consider the thought of taking part in a Marathon in 2011! Initially I said no, but then the opportunity came up to take part in the Brighton Marathon running for the Heart of Kent Hospice and I decided to take up the challenge.
Now my training begins and my 20 year ambition is set to become a reality!!!
I am raising money for the Heart of Kent Hospice who provide and invaluable service. For more details about them, please see the link to the left.
