Myself, Lynn, Steve and Lucy registered to undertake this trek to Machu Picchu last year as we all wanted to raise much needed funds for our local Marie Cure Cancer Care Hospice in Woolton, Liverpool. Unfortunately, after a brutal encounter with a bike which resulted in a very broken ankle, Lucy is unable to join us but will be supporting us every step of the way.

We are joining a trek organised by Charity Challenge and have all funded the cost of trek ourselves, so every penny raised by our fundraising and sponsorship will be going to the Woolton Hospice. For those of us who know of friends and family who have received care and support from the Hospice know what a fantastic service they provide to our local community.
