Story
Julie Wonnacott was the life and soul of every party and a much loved member of the Plymouth High community. Everyone who met her warmed to her humour and mischievousness; she is greatly missed by her family, friends and all at Plymouth High.
To honour her memory, we are raising money for one of the charities who supported her and her family before she sadly passed away: Macmillan. We ask that you donate money to support the charity which does such wonderful things, the staff who are training for different challenges and most importantly to remember Julie, who had such an impact within our school. Some of the events taking place are:
- Mrs Banks is leading a staff team in a 5k walk or run as part of Race for Life.
- Mr Willis is training for a marathon over 20 weeks to take place on Sunday, 17th September.
- Mr Law is completing 5 (!) different events including two Ironman Challenges, a triathlon and a virtual London Marathon.
- The school will be hosting a 'Wear it Pink' mufti day in June with a series of challenges for students to take part in.
Please donate whatever you can to support the charities and staff; let's see how much we can raise to honour Julie!
