The 24 hour 200 · 18 June 2022

The Cure CJD campaign has been set up by a group of individuals, personally affected by the disease, to support the work of researchers & doctors at the MRC Prion Unit at UCL and NHS National Prion Clinic at UCLH. We are a fund within UCLH Charity.

Story

Support me to help UCL find a cure for Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (CJD). There is currently no cure but every day scientists and doctors are getting closer to finding a treatment.

My beautiful husband John died of CJD on 1st January 2021, he loved to ride and was always up for an adventure, so I am setting myself a really big (slightly crazy)challenge, on the weekend of 18th June 2022 I aim to ride 200 miles in 24 hours raising as much money as possible for the charity Cure CJD.

CJD took John from being fit and healthy out riding his bike whenever he could, loving life and his family to becoming bed bound and dying in a short few months. We never know what is around the corner so have to live life to the full.

Please help me raise funds for Cure CJD and support this challenge.
