Story
Almost 3 years ago our family was left reeling when we tragically and suddenly lost my sister's husband Marcel to meningitis. It happened in a matter of hours on Christmas Day/Boxing Day 2009.
Since then we have been supporting Meningitis Research Foundation with various activities both in Marcel's memory and also in gratitude for the support they gave my sister and her little boys at the time.
Tomorrow morning at 5am Harry will set off from the Eros Statue in Piccadilly Circus and run a gruelling 14.5 mile, mostly uphill, half-marathon to the miniature Eros statue at his school, Aldenham in Elstree. Despite only just finishing his GCSE's he has been training hard for this and I am so so proud of him.
He successfully completed the run in 2011 and raised £750 for an African aid charity called Ripple Africa.
Please support him in this challenge, any amount, however small, will make a difference and will be very much appreciated.
Thanks so much
