Raising funds to help Zakky fight cancer by accessing a clinical trial abroad, in the hope of beating his cancer once and for all.

Story

Zakkys page has been set up because he needs £134k to get him to Michigan for treatment that is not available in the UK.  He needs to be there by January so pressure on his family and us all to support Gareth & Leeanne and help them to get their precious son to America.

Zakky was a perfectly healthy 2 year old boy who loved playing football and running around. He started nursery at the start of September 2015 and just a couple of weeks into thishe became very tired which initially was put down to the excitement of starting nursery. After a trip to the family doctor who referred him to hospital the dreaded news came that Zakky had Neuroblastoma stage 4 (high risk) - this news came just days before his 3rd birthday.

Neuroblastoma is a very rare and aggressive form of childhood cancer. Less than 100 children in the UK are diagnosed with this each year and it only makes up 8% of childhood cancer. Unfortunately a high percentage of children will relapse within 2 years of remission which limits treatment plans here in the UK.   This is why it is critical that we all support them and meet that January deadline.

Thank you so much all for your support - literally EVERY penny counts no donation is too small.
