Story
With Our beautiful Bella’s third birthday just past and her anniversary being today we would have given anything to have our family and friends invited to I’m sure our bubbly little girls third party. Instead I hope she is up in heaven having her little party and looking down on Lily and Oliver eating her birthday cake. Lily sent you some stickers up to heaven with a balloon to make you smile ❤️
In Bella’s memory we have decided to raise some money and give back to two charities that have helped our family. I have decided to take on the 100k steps a day challenge on 1 April to raise money for two charities; Tiny Life and The Little Forget Me Nots Trust. Life for our family will never be complete and is full of what ifs. We hope by raising money for Tiny Life we can help babies continue their fight to stay with their families. For those babies who like Bella, cannot stay for whatever reason, we hope by raising money for The Little Forget Me Nots Trust we can support their families through their grief.
The Little Forget Me Nots Trust was founded in 2020 by Louise Taylor to support bereaved families of pre-teen child loss. They connect families with alternative ways that may help them figure out techniques to overcome obstacles whenever they feel ready to face the world again and begin to live with grief. The charity provides immediate support to a family who have just lost a child, transitional support including peer craft sessions and access to funded Art Therapy and different ways to remember our loved ones.
We are grateful to both these charities for their help and hope we can give back in some way! I’m sure Bella will be looking down and walking every step of the 100k steps with me on 1 April. Loved more than words can write. Keep shining baby girl! 💫
