I very sadly lost my Dad, Wattie in January 2010 to Leukaemia and have set up a Forget me Not Fund in his memory to raise funds for Leukaemia Research. We miss him dearly and the void in our lives will never be filled.  We can take comfort from the fact that by raising funds to research this truly horrible disease, we could help another sufferer in their bid to beat it!

Over the last 4 years we have raised around £15k for this great cause through a variety of events, coffee mornings, quiz nights and runs which is absolutely fantastic. Thank you to everyone involved - it means so much. I would like to raise a little more this year........

After a break from running over the last couple of years I decided to challenge myself this year and entered the Loch Ness Marathon. This 26.2 mile course is meant to be one of the most beautiful marathon courses in the world.

The training has been going well so far and I am looking forward to the run on Sunday 28th September 2014 and I know that fundraising for this cause, which is so close to my heart, will help get me to the finish line!
