Story
Mr Roche and Mr Turner, school teachers at St Edward's and core members of Segar's House, are both keen runners and fans of the great outdoors. Late on a Monday evening (Mr Turner's duty night in Segar's) they decided upon an ambitious challenge: to run the entire length of The Ridgeway, a 100 kilometre ultra-marathon. They are going to complete the challenge in one day, the 14th July to be precise, and will be running from dawn until dusk.
Mr Roche has never even run a marathon before..
The boys in house, and their parents, have pledged money if Mr Roche and Mr Turner run the event in house colours and if they tweet a selfie of themselves on the house twitter page every 10K.

They will run the event in order to raise money for the Felix Project which is the charity that St Edward's school is supporting over the academic year 2017/18.
The Felix Project - Good food for good causes
The Felix Project is a London Charity working with food suppliers and charities to reduce food waste and food poverty. They help to fight food poverty and reduce costs for hardworking charity organisations. They collect food from supermarkets, wholesalers and other food suppliers - food that is fresh and nutritious and that would otherwise go to waste. They deliver this food free of charge to charities which provide meals, snacks or food parcels. Those that receive the food include the elderly, the homeless, people with mental health issues, refugees and asylum seekers and vulnerable families and children.
