Fundraising for Epilepsy Action
Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I am raising money for the charity Epilepsy Action.
I myself suffer from epilepsy and had my first seizure in 2009 as a result of a brain haemorrhage. Now it is thankfully well controlled by medication so it does not generally impact upon my day to day life but others are not so lucky.
Epilepsy Action provides valuable information and support for those affected by epilepsy, an illness about which little is discussed.
As well as campaigning to improve epilepsy services, it offers assistance in a number of different ways. These include a national network of branches, epilepsy awareness volunteers and freephone and email helplines.
