On the 15th June I am attempting to cycle 470 miles from Bristol to Bordeaux and raising much needed funds to help a charity called PROPS. They are a local Bristol charity ....

When children with special needs reach the age of 16 they have very few options available to them to continue and develop their learning and enhance their life skills. PROPS fundraises and resource inclusive projects based in the special needs community to support students in a comfortable and positive environment to help bridge the gap between education and the workplace.

The first stage of the journey is from Bristol to Portsmouth where we (yes there are 49 other mad people doing this) then catch a ferry to St Malo. Currently I am having sleepless nights thinking I will not get to the ferry on time .... keep training Joolz!!!

Big thank you to Bob for inspiring me with his fantastic efforts last year cycling from Istanbul to Paris. Unlike Bob I won't be carrying everything with me but then I am twice his age!
