Story

I'm walking  to and from work for 4 weeks (which is 20 days ) it is 6.5 miles to work n back a day in May in memory of my auntie beryl who has just passed away and Sue Hazelden who passed last August and to support families facing dementia. Dementia UK is the specialist dementia nurse charity. Our nurses, called Admiral Nurses, provide life-changing care to families affected by all forms of dementia, including Alzheimers disease. They help people with dementia stay independent for longer, and support the people caring for them so they have the strength to cope with the bad days, and the energy to enjoy the good days. They have the time to listen and the knowledge to solve problems, helping families take back control when they are struggling.* Share your personal story, let your sponsors know why you have chosen to support Dementia UK by taking part in the Walk 100 Miles in May challenge.
