Story

I am embarking on this Trek to raise money for SANDs ,the stillbirth and neonatal death Charity. It is a Charity which is very close to my heart, as I work in the Women's Unit, part of the Maternity Services,  in a local Hospital.  Funding is needed to help offer support to bereaved parents and families.

I am raising money in memory of a very special boy, Jasper Eric Hawkesford.  He was born to a loving family, Holly ( one of our Midwives) , Jon and big sister Tessy on 16th July 2014, and lived only a few hours. His Fundraising charity, Jasper's Rainbow, set up by his parents, has raised over  £13,000 so far)  for three charities , Edward's Trust , Sands and South Warwickshire foundation NHS Trust ( Scbu and Labour Ward).

I will hopefully add to this, raising much needed funds for SANDS.

I will be walking over days. 25 miles along the Jurassic coast line, starting at Swanage.  It is a huge challenge but one that excites me.

I am hoping that 'Jaspers Rainbow' shows on the Day to spur me on and Guide me to the end.

We are also holding a charity event/ Jumble sale In June and I am asking people to donate clothes, bric-a-brac etc, ending with an auction.  dates will be confirmed so watch this space.
