Story
A lot of you reading this page will already know why we are doing this walk-our Aunt Jean. She passed away in May 2008 after a long courageous fight against this horrible horrible disease. We watched it take her from us bit by bit, not being able to do anything except love and reassure her that everything would be ok. Those of you who knew her know the kind of woman she was, independent, fun loving, generous, "a real lady", something she never lost despite this disease. and above all the best aunt we could ever have hoped to have.We feel truly blessed to have the amazing family we have and our Aunt Jean was and always will be a huge part of it. She lived for her family especially her grandkids in Canada, Sara, Karl, Alex and Adam and no matter how bad she got, talking about them always brought a smile to her face and her pride in them was there right to the end! She left us with so many amazing memories and taught me so much taking part in this walk is our way of remembering her and saying thank you for being the most loving, amazing and courageous aunt.So that's it! This is for Jeannie Moonbeam.
Thanks for taking the time to visit our page.Alzheimers is a devastating disease and the impact it has on sufferers and their families immense so hopefully all the money raised through this walk will go some way to helping.
