Story
OMG!! I've booked my skydive.....
On the 10th May 2013 I will be heading off to take part in the experience of a lifetime and all thanks to our gorgeous Adam.
At the age of 12 Adam was diagnosed with a Brain Tumour and our world feel apart, he was rushed to Kings College Hospital where his long journey began, his fight against cancer! His young life became all about hospital visits and hopes and dreams of one day beating his illness.
Thoughout Adams illness he remained determined and positive that one day life would return to normal but unfortunately his battle was lost and on the 10th May 2012 Adam went to sleep and joined the Angels.
As a parent your worst nightmare is to lose a child and to find yourself needing support from a Childrens Hospice. It became a reality for our family and Chestnut Tree were there to help us through the most awful time of our lives. They were able to offer a resting place for Adam until we were ready to make his funeral arrangements and their love and support was a huge comfort for the family.
So to all you lovely, generous people, please help me to raise as much money as possible to support the incredible work that they do at Chestnut Tree and help us say a huge 'Thank You' to the remarkable staff who care for all the children, without them so many lives would be so much harder to cope with.
Love you
Julie. Xxxx
