We provide support and fund vital research to make myeloma history

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In November 2010 my Dad was diagnosed with Myeloma which is a cancer of the plasma cells.  He underwent 6 months of gruelling chemotherapy which has been effective in slowing down the disease. With the added complication of a heart condition, he has had tough year and we were all glad to see the end of 2011. He has always been the strong one in the family and we are all so proud of him and also my sister Jill who nursed him through the worst days and nights.

Each year nearly 4000 people in the UK are diagnosed with Myeloma and Myeloma UK provides information and support to these people and their families.

£2 will provide a booklet about myeloma

£12 will fund an information pack

Please give whatever you can to help me reach my target. Training is going well so I hope I can complete the run and enjoy the day as much as the Cardiff Half-Marathon (see photo) last year.
