Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am going to take part in the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge, June 17th, 2018 to raise money for the Happy Days Children Charity in celebration of Dan's life.
My beloved nephew Daniel, died doing the job he loved in September 2017, aged just 29 years old. Dan lived his life to the full, experiencing lots of adventures and activities during his childhood and adult life. Such adventures as climbing various peaks and spending two weeks in the amazon on a survival course, and many, many more adventures.I know Dan always appreciated how fortunate he was to enjoy such things. He always gave his all in what he wanted to achieve, but always had a big heart that helped others along the way , in whatever he was doing.
I now want to be able to raise money for the Happy Days Children Charity in his name, so other children can have the opportunity to experience some of the joys of living in an adventurous spirit, as Dan did in his short, but well-lived and well-loved life.
Now I have never done anything this extreme before but inspired by Dan's zest for life and adventure, and always being there for others, makes me want to honour his name in raising a lot of money for this great cause. I cannot think of a better to celebrate what would have been Dan's 30th birthday on 18th June 2018.
It will be an occasion filled with tears, sadness but a sense of celebration of Dan's life. Dan's passing has left a big hole in so many lives. Words cannot express how much Dan is missed, especially by his lovely wife and his parents. Anyone who shared a moment with Dan will know this. Dan this is for you - in celebration of your life!
So please dig deep, and please remember to gift-aid as it makes a huge difference.
Thank you
