Thank you for visiting my page and I feel privileged for the second year running to have the opportunity to run the london marathon for ovacome. 

Ovarian Cancer is a truly vindictive disease which is not a respecter of age.  It claimed my wonderful Mum many years too soon, and that’s when I took up running.  We felt cheated, but at least she had met her grandchildren, touched their lives and left them with the happiest of memories.  If our contribution can give time, comfort and support to women with Ovarian Cancer and their families, and if it can help the research which will eliminate it so that so that nobody’s children or grandchildren will be at risk then I’ll be happy.  Mum would be too!

Any contribution will be so gratefully received.  I’m sure you know the story of the battle lost because of the lack of a nail for a horse’s shoe!   With enough of us supplying horse shoe nails this battle must surely be won before long!
