We support children to learn, grow & become who they want to be

Story

Although we have both run several half marathons before, the Great North Run is not called Great for nothing and is one of the toughest so we will be training hard in preparation! We will also be hoping to each beat our previous times.

Your support is hugely appreciated and I'm sure I don't need to tell you what amazing work Save the Children do, both in this country and around the world. They not only save lives but also help children reach their potential. You can read about STC work here www.savethechildren.org.uk and if you're not able to sponsor us please sign the latest petition - Race Against Hunger.

Our combined target is £600 which is the equivalent of 4 new oxygen kits to help babies when they're born with breathing difficulties in Bangladesh, or a safe area for children to play in Liberia, or mosquito nets to protect 200 children from Malaria in South Sudan, or 50 children being vaccinated in Sierra Leone, or in the UK, 5 cots providing newborn babies with a safe place to sleep, or school uniform for 25 children to ensure they can attend school like any other child, free from bullying, in order that they can go on to fulfil their potential. The list is endless.

Thank you!!
