Story
Thanks for visiting my page. I'm raising money for the British Heart Foundation's research and I'd be so grateful for your support. My mum had a pacemaker inserted during the pandemic at Papworth hospital. Having this surgery has made her feel so much better and it’s research that has made this possible. My mum couldn’t cycle from London to Brighton so I will as fast as I can. This event was planned for June 2020 and was hijacked by Covid and I am delighted to take part this year. Thank you to everyone who has donated so far, your donations still count.
I will keep you posted of my training highs and lows! I may share training pictures, depends how hot I look ! If anyone wants a day out to Brighton for this fabulous event to cheer me on or by me a cheeky cocktail in Brighton to celebrate my arrival let me know, I plan to arrive early afternoon on Sunday June 19th 2022.
The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. £24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to help me hit my target and maybe smash it, thank you so much Julie xx
